It's been a long time coming for St. Cloud native Justin Ploof. His much anticipated E.P. "Love Songs & Other Strangers" hit digital retailers this morning (6/9) at midnight.

Start getting use to calling him Justin McGuinn! I know its a change, and Minnesotans don't do very well with change, but you have to try!

I had the chance to attend a special stripped down performance last night (5/14) featuring Justin Ploof (Justin McGuinn).

Justin is stepping out as a solo artist under the name Justin McGuinn to release his debut E.P. titled "Love Songs & Other Strangers" on Miami based record label Essential Media Group.

This weekend is a celebration of music as two events are dedicated to the work of The Beach Boys -- Justin Ploof and the Throwbacks at Pioneer Place, and Collective Unconscious at the Paramount Theatre, country music star Rodney Atkins comes to Grand Casino Mille Lacs, the St. Cloud String Quartet teams up with the Central Minnesota Youth Orchestra at the Paramount and the hilarious and award-winning Broadway musical, The Book of Mormon, begins its run at the Orpheum Theatre.
