More people attended last night's two Minnesota's High School Boys hockey tournaments at the Excel Energy Center than six of last night's professional NHL matches. It's safe to say hockey's a pretty big deal in Minnesota.

The 2017 Granite City Pond Hock Championships took place this weekend. The tournament wrapped up Sunday at Lake George. The event featured multiple rinks and people of all ages, with a few different divisions.

I got to go to the Class A State Tournament quarterfinals for boy's hockey at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul last night. The Cathedral High School Crusaders lost 4-2 against St. Paul Academy.
