Help Me Get Out Of Going To The Huskies Game On Halloween!

How do I get out of going to the Huskies Hockey game on Saturday?! Don't get me wrong...I LOVE Husky Hockey, but my tickets are for the HALLOWEEN game.

My fiance and I bought Saturday night season tickets to the hockey game with the promise that the both of us would actually go--and we wouldn't bail out. I knew full well that there was a game on Halloween when we bought the tickets. I thought I'd be able to handle it--but now I'm having regrets.

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love passing out Halloween candy, watching scary movies, taking my younger sisters trick-or-treating and making festive food.

If I go to the hockey game I won't be able to do any of that and it's my tradition. So, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. What do I do?! Is there a way that I can do both. If not, what's a good excuse? Or, do you think I should just put my big girl pants on, suck it up and go to the game like I promised?

I really hate that other things happen on Halloween. Can't we just not schedule things like this on holidays? That would make life so much easier.
