Some young athletes from the St. Cloud area are headed to the world stage at the end of July.

Viewing parties have been planned as St. Cloud's own Alise Post competes in the Olympics. You can watch Post in the the BMX races at the Marcus Parkwood Cinema in Waite Park. The viewing parties are free and open to everyone.

I caught up with BMX Superstar and St. Cloud native Alise "The Beast" Post right before she left to represent "Team USA" in the 2012 Summer Olympics.
