Summer Snowboarding Returns To Minnesota This June
A Minnesota park is offering up the chance to snowboard in June. Read that again. A Minnesota park has squirreled away enough snow from last season, and it's stuck around long enough to offer people the chance to snowboard in June. While all the spots have been reserved, fans of the winter pastime can still come and watch.
Snowboarding In June?
While the only month in which Minnesota has never received snow in is July, that isn't stopping one Minnesota park from offering up the chance to snowboard this week. Hyland Hills Ski Area in Bloomington was offering the chance to snowboard tomorrow for those who were interested, and based on every time available being sold out, it was a popular idea.

Our Rail Jam is SOLD OUT! But you can still come and hang out with us this Wednesday from 3-9 for some winter fun in the summer!
Grab a beverage and watch the snow 'fly'
While spectators and those who secured a spot snowboarding aren't going to get a whole hillside to cruise down, there will be enough of a base that gets flattened out to offer a rail jam, as well as some space for some freestyle tricks. Check out this reel that shows some action from what I believe was last year to get an idea.
For snow lovers this is the dream
If you love winter and all the action that comes with it, from cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, to snowboarding, tubing, and sledding this is your 'almost halfway' point to having more snow...maybe. (we haven't had a lot of snow the last few years).
If you are interested in playing hooky to check out the action, you can get the details about Hyland Hills and it's address by heading to their social media page here.
