Grab your flip flops, sunscreen and towels because St. Cloud's splash pads are opening on Thursday. The opening was planned weeks ago but is perfectly timed with the upcoming weather forecast!

With temperatures expect to reach the 70's on Friday and Saturday, 75 on Sunday and climb into the 80's on Monday and Tuesday, we can expect to see folks taking advantage of the season at their favorite St. Cloud splash pad.

There are four splash pads in the city of St. Cloud:

Lake George has a splash pad and a huge playground for kids to dry off on. This splash pad is particularly popular during summer nights at Summertime By George. You can also take a nice stroll along the lake while you are there.

Google reviewers give the Lake George park 4.6 stars on average.

Seberger Park offers a sprawling complex with a splash pad combined with a wading pool. This park offers lifeguards on duty, but also costs about $2.25 for kids to get in.

Google reviewers give Seberger 4.3 stars on average.

Westwood Elementary has a semi-hidden splash pad on its property. This splash pad is particularly good for the little kids and is quite a bit smaller than some of the others in the area.

Google users give Westwood's splash pad a 4.1 rating.

Finally, Riverside Park has a splash pad, playground and a rock wall to play on. There is also a big fire truck feature that kids can climb on and pretend they are firefighters! Make a day of it and check out Munsinger Gardens, disc golf course,  the river and the playground/splash pad.. all for free!

Google reviewers give this splash pad a 4.7 rating.
