St. Cloud Skatin’ Place To Celebrate 50th Anniversary With Huge Event Friday

St. Cloud's landmark Skatin' Place will celebrate its upcoming 50th anniversary with an appropriately big event Friday night.

The venue is hosting a '50th Anniversary Balloon Drop Skate' on Friday, June 14th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be two balloon drops, pizza, skating and laser tag at the event, along with the arcade games and other concession treats that are always offered at Skatin' Place.

Tickets for the event are $20. The cost includes unlimited skating, unlimited laser tag and the pizza buffet. Skate rentals will cost an additional $5. Prices do not include 'tax and fees.'

Non-skating adults who would like to attend can buy a ticket for $10 that also includes the pizza buffet. All attendees must have a ticket.

A massive balloon drop featuring over $1,000 in prizes will happen at 8 p.m. and a mini balloon drop for kids five and under is set for 7:50 p.m..

An event photographer will be on hand to snap candid shots throughout the night, leaving you free to set down the phone and live in the moment!

Skatin' Place is one of my famlies go-to's when we want a night out with something to do for everyone. My wife and I love to roller skate, my older son will spend his time (and money) in the arcade trying to win tickets and my youngest son loves the inflatables at the back of the rink.
