South Haven is a small town in northern Wright County with a population of 187 along Highway 55 between Kimball and Annandale.  South Haven was platted in 1888 and was named South Haven because it is 2 miles south of Fairhaven.  South Haven has been incorporated since 1902 and has had a post office since 1887.
