When Sheryl Crow was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, she hired a personal chef that could help her make food that was about wellness, would fortify her immune system and tasted good.
Then she made things even trickier – they had to be easy, "I'm not that comfortable in the kitchen. I'd much rather be in the studio. So it's great to have recipes that even I can cook."
Things worked out so well, that Sheryl decided to put the recipes in a book. If It Makes You Healthy: More Than 100 Delicious Recipes Inspired by the Seasons is co-written with her personal chef, Chuck White, and will be out on March 29th. It will feature 125 recipes - categorized by season and designed for someone with a busy schedule.
