Sherman Hemsley Has Died

Sources are saying that actor Sherman Hemsley has died. 

According to gossip website TMZ, actor Sherman Hemsley has died.

Sherman Hemsley, best known as George Jefferson made quite the name for himself in the oft-controversial show All in the Family and was the star of his own sitcom The Jeffersons which also starred Isabel Sanford as his wife Louise "Weezy" Jefferson.

Sherman Hemsley died at his home in El Paso, Texas. He was 74 and had no wife and no children.
