Design and create your very own LEGO masterpiece for your chance at it being displayed at the Science Museum in St. Paul and also receive five complementary passes to the Science Museum! There are five different categories of competition:
- 4 - 7 year-olds
- 8-12 year-olds
- 13-17 year-olds
- 18 and older
- Group or Family (multiple people working on one design like a classroom or a family)
Registration for this contest opens January 8th, and February 18th is the last day they are taking submissions. The final products will be judged between February 19th and 22nd, and the winners will be announced on February 23rd!
There are a few special rules to keep in mind!
- The creation has to be original, it can't be based on LEGO kits, or based off instructions found on the internet.
- No glue! The blocks need to be stuck together how they're supposed to.
- Entries need to be made entirely out of LEGO, Duplo, Megablocks, or other LEGO-compatible plastic bricks or parts and pieces.
