Sauk Rapids Holiday Parade, More Planned For Saturday

SAUK RAPIDS - Sauk Rapids has a day filled with Christmas-themed activities Saturday. The 9th annual Sauk Rapids "Holiday Parade of Lights & Family Fun Day" starts with kids bingo is at the VFW from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be there from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m.

The Sauk Rapids Fire Department will be collecting toys for "Toys For Tots" at the fire hall, and also along the parade route. A "Trot for Tots 5K" starts at 3:00 p.m. at the fire hall.

The Lions Club has a steak fry and meat raffle starting at 5:00 p.m.

And the Holiday Parade of Lights starts at 5:00 p.m. The parade travels down 2nd Avenue through the downtown.

A live Nativity scene will be in the Coborn's parking lot from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. presented by Living Waters Lutheran Church.
