Sauk Rapids Announces Dates for Rapids River Days 2021
After having to take 2020 off due to COVID-19, Sauk Rapids is ready to bring back Rapids River Days in June of 2021.
Over the weekend the 3-Day festival announced that they are hopeful to host the event this year:
We're keeping our fingers crossed, hoping RAPIDS RIVER DAYS can take place this year. Mark your calendar for June 24-26, 2021!
Some events they are hopeful to host this year include the Sauk Rapids Community Ambassador Pageant, the parade through Sauk Rapids, a 1K/5K walk run, a strong man/strong woman contest, live bands, and of course the iconic food fest.
Sauk Rapids River Days is also allowing people to be a "rouser" on their website leading up to this summer's event. You will get your picture featured on their website and a little bit about why you love Rapids River Days. You can submit your "rouser" information here.
After a summer that didn't have any town festivals, parades, or big live events, I am so ready for them to come back in 2021. Hopefully, all of the amazing upgrades at Lions Park will be completed by the time Rapids River Days comes around. They have been making some really incredible changes to the area and I cant wait to see and enjoy the finished product.
