Quiet Oaks Hosts 6th Annual Memorial Release Of Butterflies [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD - Great music and beautiful butterflies drew hundreds of people to Munsinger Gardens Sunday Afternoon.

The "Music in the Gardens" and Memorial Release of the Butterflies event were coordinated by Quiet Oaks Hospice House, Munsinger Celemens Botanical Society and Saint Cloud Symphony Orchestra.

People who came to the gardens were able to get butterflies and were asked to release them all at the same time.

Linda Allen is the Executive Director at Quiet Oaks. She says releases the butterflies helps us remember those who have passed before us.

"We use this as a way to remember those who have gone before. As we memorialize and remember them the community comes out in support."

This was the 6th annual butterfly release sponsored by Quiet Oaks Hospice House.

After the butterfly release there was a free concert, art work was on display, and root beer floats.
