Meet Sierra and Blaze at the Tri-County Humane Society.

Sierra is a spayed Black Lab mix who is six years old. She has been waiting for a new home for three weeks now. This black beauty has a wonderful temperament and has lived in the company of children and several cats in the past. She was surrendered to the shelter because her previous owners didn’t feel they had the right housing conditions for an extra large and exploratory dog. Sierra likes to play fetch and go for walks. She does very well on a leash and a daily walk would suite her adventurous nature. If you would enjoy a big soft best friend who is grateful for affection, please come and ask to visit with her outside of her kennel.

If you are looking for a friendly feline, meet Blaze. She was surrendered because her previous owner was moving. Blaze is an 11 month old spayed tabby on white with beautiful markings – and of course the little blaze on her face which is how she got her name. In her previous home she lived with another cat and 2 adult humans. Blaze has a playful personality and loves to explore. She can be quite a talker sometimes too! If Blaze seems like the purr-fect match for you, swing by the shelter and meet her today!
