One Dead In Head-on Crash Involving Semi

MORA -- One man is dead after a crash involving a semi Tuesday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. on highway 23 near Mora.

Sergeant Neil Dickenson says 38-year-old Brian Rodenborg of Mora was driving west on highway 23, when he crossed the center line and hit the semi head-on.

Rodenborg was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing his seat belt.

The driver of the semi, 50-year-old Igor Kovalchuk of Woodridge Illinois was not hurt.

Wet roads played a role in the incident.
