There's new music playing now on Mix 94.9!

Maroon 5's new single "Memories" feels like the grown up version of Vitamin C's 1999 hit "Graduation (Friends Forever)" 10 years later after experiencing life and heartbreak.

“This song is for anyone who has ever experienced loss,” Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine shared on Twitter along with the new song. “In other words, this song is for all of us.”

As the title implies, "Memories" is a nostalgic tune with a stirring "low-key rock sound" (Billboard) and reflective lyrics.

“Here’s to the ones that we got / Cheers to the wish you were here, but you’re not / ‘Cause the drinks bring back all the memories of everything we’ve been through / Toast to ones here today / Toast to the ones here today / Toast to the ones that we lost on the way.”

"Memories" is Maroon 5's first new music and latest release since the Cardi B collab "Girls Like You" one year ago. As of this week, it debuts at No. 22 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart.
