Birds are birds and are going to nest where they want. The problem is, it's costing one construction company owner three thousand dollars a day. The owner discovered the nest last week and called the Audubon Society for help. They in turn contacted state officials who gave to all clear to move the nest,  but the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said no way, so the crane, the barge it sits on, two tug boats and an entire work crew stopped what they were doing until the bird family left the nest. UPDATE: The nest was moved on Wednesday and as crews were moving it, one of the baby birds hatched! Read the rest of the story here.
