MN Redditor Admits to Eating Last Cookie in Brave Post
He may not be the hero we deserve, but he's the hero we all need.
Someone in the Minnesota thread of Reddit clearly understands Minnesota's passive-aggressive culture all too well.
"There was one HyVee Coconut Pecan cookie left in the work lunch area all morning. I took it," reddit user framerotblues bravely admitted. "Be the change you want to see in Minnesota."
Clearly this individual is not originally from Minnesota or a true Minnesotan at heart, and -- as an Illinoisan and fellow out-of-stater myself -- I applaud him. Comments from other reddit users conveyed everything from disbelief and shock to praise.
"You mean you asked everybody in the office if they wanted it and when they all said no you cut it in half right?" asked one.
"You mean you didn't mangle the thing with an old butter knife? Shame!" exclaimed another.
"As a fellow Iowan living in Minnesota for the last nine years, I salute you. Enough of this shameful doughnut cutting!!!" hailed a third.
"Be the change you want to see in Minnesota," says framerotblues. In other words -- eat the last d*** piece!
