Minnesota’s Most Popular Springtime Flower Isn’t The Pink Lady Slipper
Soon, the snow will melt and in it's place will be a sea of beautiful spring flowers. Minnesotans love the great outdoors and flowers are the gift we get for going through a long and cold winter.
The site House Method wanted to see what the most popular springtime flower is in each state. If you guessed Minnesota's favorite flower is the Pink Lady Slipper, you'd be wrong.
Minnesotans actually prefer lily of the valley in the springtime. The site was able to determine this thanks to Google Trends. It's the most searched flower in the spring by Minnesotans. The lily of the valley is the 4th most popular springtime flower in the country, behind the pansy, rose and first ranked daisy.
I don't think I've ever met a flower I didn't enjoy. Cheers to spring and the warmer weather ahead. May the upcoming April showers bring us many, many May flowers.
