After the approval of the third round of stimulus money was passed, Minnesotans saw deposits directly into their bank accounts last Wednesday, St. Patrick's Day.  There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to how they are being deposited...some got it and some did not regardless of even though you were eligible.

The next batch will be going out tomorrow, Wednesday. And if you don't get your stimulus money this time directly deposited into your account, you may be receiving a check in the mail in the future, or you could be getting an EBT card. Basically that is just a debit card loaded with your stimulus money.

If you are curious about what you are getting, or if you will be getting a check or a EBT card, you can check out the Get My Payment link.  This goes right to the IRS. You will need to enter some personal information, then you will get some better understanding on the status of your stimulus payment.

If you have already filed your taxes for 2020, this may affect the amount you are getting for this particular round of checks.  Maybe you made less money last year and now you qualify.  Or, maybe you made more money than in 2019.  This could make you not eligible even if you qualified the last time.  The link above will also let you know if you are eligible or not.  The link will also answer most of the commonly asked questions about the payments.  This could save you a lot of time hanging out on hold if you called the IRS instead of checking this online link.

What are you doing with your stimulus?  Bills? Saving it? Using it to just get by after this pandemic?
