Minnesota Natives Star in New Travel Channel Show “Destination Fear”
A brand new series is coming to Travel Channel starring people from Minnesota:
You saw him on Ghost Adventures, now, Dakota Laden takes his sister and best friend on a cross-country road trip to visit the most-haunted locations in America.
Don't miss Destination Fear Saturday, October 26 at 10|9c.
The show is a "psychological experiment" where it is tested how terror affects the human mind. The crew from the show went on a road trip to 10 different haunted places around the country to film and conduct this fear experiment.
The two stars are Tanner Wiseman and Dakota Laden, both from Lakeville, Minnesota. They originally started making videos together for YouTube in middle and high school. Learning about ghost stories and exploring abandoned places has always been a passion for the two, and now they get to do it on TV. Dakota's sister Chelsea is also on the team going on this cross country road trip. They are their own camera crew as well, with the help of just a couple friends from high school.
Dakota is the ring leader, he knows where the team is going and what they are doing, but everyone else is in the dark until they arrive. The first episode was filmed in Tennessee at Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary where over 10,000 people died. It has been abandoned for 20 years, and the crew spends the night there, separated from each other. That episode will air Saturday, October 26 9 pm central /10 pm eastern.
