Minnesota is Currently in the “Paradise Zone” for Weather

If you've thought to yourself lately, "wow today is such a nice day," you're not wrong. We have been completely spoiled with great weather to start the month of September, and there is a reason for that.

We are in what the internet has dubbed "the paradise zone". It's that one week a year where there is no snow, no mud, it's warm during the day, but not blistering hot, and there's limited humidity. But most importantly, there are no mosquitos.

This is a great time of year to bust out your favorite hoodies, have an evening campfire, or go for those long hikes you've been putting off because summer was just way too hot. It's also a great time to get out fishing as water temps are cooling off, which bring larger fish closer to the surface.

This paradise zone only lasts for a very short amount of time, before we know it mornings will be frost-covered, and the daytime temps will start to cool down drastically.

Looking at the long-range forecast, we might just get to milk out this paradise zone through the end of September. Models are showing that we will maintain daytime highs in the low to mid-70s through the end of the month. Even then it'll switch to daytime highs in the 60s which are also quite pleasant.

Get out and enjoy the paradise zone, it won't last forever!
