All four Minnesota Apple stores are in the Twin Cities.

I desperately need a new MacbookPro laptop. The one I have now is 10 years old and well-worn. Last year it ran out of storage space making it painfully slow to work in; the wifi function also crashed, meaning I can't use the internet, thereby making my work even more tedious and slow. I've been saving up for a new My Macbook Pro for several months now and just a few weeks ago felt ready to make a purchase. I Googled the nearest Apple store to find their address and store hours, only to find that all Minnesota Apple stores were closed due to COVID-19. Instead, I was directed to the Apple website where I can purchase online or interact with customer service and tech support there. Well, I'm a hands-on kind of guy who -- if I'm going to drop $1500-$2000 on a laptop -- would rather make that kind of purchase in person than online. Needless to say, I was frustrated and disappointed that I'd have to continue slaving away over my nearly-useless laptop for the indefinite future.

Well, my struggle has finally come to an end, as Appleosophy announces that all of Apple's stores are open again starting February 1, 2021. All four Minnesota Apple stores have been closed since December 5, 2020. Those four stores are located at:

  • Apple Store at Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota
  • Apple Store at the Southdale Center in Edina, Minnesota
  • Apple Store at the Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka, Minnesota
  • Apple Store at the Rosedale Center in Roseville, Minnesota

Appleosophy also reports that -- if the reopened Minnesota stores operate like the already-opened store in Des Moines, IA -- they'll be open to those with appointments made online and for pickup orders.
