The Minneapolis house used in many of the external shots for the Mary Tyler Moore Show is for sale. The house was built in 1900 and is listed for $1.695 million dollars. Holy cow.

Full disclosure, this house was just for external shots. The apartment Mary Tyler Moore "lived in" was a set in Hollywood. And if we are getting really real, the house is in a SUPER nice area. It would be highly unlikely her character could afford to live there.
