‘March For Our Lives’ Protest Planned For Sartell

On Saturday, March 24 students, parents, teachers and people from around the country will be participating in the 'March For Our Lives' event that aims to prevent any more mass shootings from happening in an American school.

The event already has support from celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Sheryl Crow, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and more. According to Pop Crush, It's an event that has been organized by students who say they've had enough of the violence and are tired of risking their lives everyday by just going to school.

So far, there are 819 events planned throughout the country that will happen simultaneously at 10 a.m. including one right here in our backyard. There's a march in Sartell to support the national protest. Members of the community who are in support of the protest will be gathering at Sartell City Hall starting at 10 a.m. You're invited to gather in solidarity for the students who have been affected by gun violence.
