Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Charge After Large Pot Bust
ST. CLOUD -- A California man will be sentenced June 22nd after he was found transporting 50 pounds of marijuana through central Minnesota.
Thirty-two-year-old John Nilmeyer pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to felony 3rd degree drug possession.
Court records show he was pulled over in Sauk Centre last spring for tinted tail lights and failing to signal a lane change. The officer noticed the smell of marijuana in the car and a police dog uncovered 50 vacuum-sealed, one-pound bags of pot in duffel bags.
