ST. CLOUD -- The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation has secured funding for a St. Cloud Regional Airport study.

The study will look to identify how the airport can grow and enhance the economic impact on the community.

The Legislature allocated $250,000 in the transportation bill recently signed by Governor Mark Dayton.

GSDC President Patti Gartland says they will report the findings to Governor Dayton and lawmakers in January.

Gartland says it will also help make the case for the airport to go from a city-run airport to one that can be governed by a Regional Airport Authority.
