McDonald’s Releasing Grinch-Themed Holiday Meal in Minnesota
The Happy Meal hit McDonald’s menus a few years before I was even born, and it didn’t take long for it to become a global icon. I grew up on them, switching back and forth between the cheeseburger and the nuggets. But the best part was always the toys tucked inside the box.
Now, McDonald’s, one of Minnesota’s biggest fast-food chains, is teaming up with Dr. Seuss to roll out special holiday meals this December. They’re not Happy Meals, though. These spotlight a famously grumpy character, they’re made for adults, and yes, they come with a fun little gift.

On December 2nd, participating McDonald's locations will roll out The Grinch Meal.
Sure, the Grinch is cranky, but people love him. In fact, "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" took the top spot in a YouGov survey on favorite Christmas movies.

The company says the Grinch Meal comes with the choice of either a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken Nugget with a medium drink and fries. Now, you might be wondering what's special about that. Well, the fries come with a unique seasoning featuring the flavor of the year, according to Allrecipes.
The fries inside each Grinch Meal at McDonald's come with a "McShaker" bag full of tangy dill pickle seasoning. McDonald's fries are perfect how they are, but I'm curious to try them with pickle salt.
Each meal also contains a gift from the Grinch. Every order will contain a pair of themed socks with messages written by the Grinch himself. See them below.
