Holiday Stationstores Start Rebranding In The St. Cloud Area

A well-known convenience store in Minnesota is getting a rebrand, and recently, it was noticed that at least one area store has already flipped. So, when will we start to see St. Cloud stores switch?

From Holiday To Circle K

The Holiday Stationstore in Clearwater off I-94, across the road from the Clearwater Travel Plaza, has been rebranded as a Circle K Store. The changeover happened sometime in the last month, with the Holiday branding outside being changed to the Circle K signage.

Most stores on the inside have already begun replacing Holiday with Circle K months ago; it's just been a matter of time until we saw the outside of the store match the inside.

Duluth Has Already Switched Over

It's been a few months, but Duluth area Holidays have already seen the changeover, so it was only a matter of time until they started here in Central Minnesota. The real question is, when will we start to see signage changes in St. Cloud?

Timetable On Change?

Talking with Holiday/Circle K employees at the grand opening of the Holiday in Royalton location last summer, rebranding the outside of stations isn't cheap, and it takes time to do. When I asked them about the rebranding, many said it comes in stages, and oftentimes stores don't have a lot of say in when the change happens.

On top of signage changes to the outside of the building, the gas canopies have to be changed, and in some cases, even the signs where the gas prices are displayed need to be changed out, which usually means you need a crane to come in to remove the old sign and raise the new one.

So with Clearwater being done, it's probably just a matter of weeks until we see the changes come to St. Cloud, with the store off County Road 75 and I-94 being the most logical to change next.
