On Thursday, March 7th Facebook announced it's getting a Facelift with plans to make photos along with other visual elements more prominent to the news feed.

According to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated the social network will appear less cluttered,in a way; more like a "personalized newspaper."

Zuckerberg went on to say, "We believe that the best personalized newspaper should be visual and rich and engaging because the stories around you are intricate and detailed and they deserve to be displayed with more than just text."

Research is showing that the younger people are tiring of Facebook, however; the older people seem to be coming on strong because of one main special benefit that it's improving their memory. I'm talking ages 68 to 91. With two months of using the social network it showed a 25 percent improvement in working memory. With the new visual appeal that number may increase.

Zuckerberg has admitted that he has strong concerns about losing the younger jetset to the more visual social networks like Instagram, Pinterest, Google - Plus for eaxample.

Attached is a video breaking down the facelift of Facebook, by Zuckerberg. Certainly will keep you up to date on the latest changes.
