Is November The Most Important Month for Central Minnesota Men?

For some people, November is the best month of the year because of hunting season. The fact they can spend time in the woods and the chance to add to the meat in their freezer and possibly the motif hanging on the wall.

For some fellas, November stands for No-Shave November. That’s 30 days they don’t have to shave their face if they normally do. Pardon the pun, but things have gotten “hairy” for more than one couple I’ve known who went through this annual pilgrimage. 

It’s also Election month, the start of the College Basketball Season and Thanksgiving month. 

But for men, November could be the most important month in preparation for 2025. Why you ask? It's “Half-Price November” at The Value Connection. 

Now hear me out. First, guys as you plan for next year, you and I both know you’ll be in the doghouse with your significant other at least several times in the upcoming year. If you stock up now on certificates that you can have handy when that happens, just go to your stash and “BAM” drop the little surprise on them. 

You’ll have to do that anyway, right? You might as well go ahead and save more buy getting those certificates now. And I would suggest that you not be conservative with the number of times you’ll need this emergency supply of Value Connection. 

Another reason you should take advantage of “Half-Price November” is there will be at least a few times when you’ll want to have a special surprise "just because", or because someone else hurt your significant other’s feelings.   

Having a stash of certificates handy will allow you to spring into action quickly and help make them feel better.  

There may also be a time in the next year where there’s something that you want to watch on TV, somewhere you really want to go or something you really want to do, but you know this might cause some tension at home. Get a certificate for them to go enjoy some time with their friend or friends. 

This will not only show them you are considering their feelings, but that you are responsible, and they’ll likely feel bad for suggesting numerous times during the year that you aren’t mature or responsible.  

The tricky part about this one is you need to again not be conservative the number of times you’ll want to play this card. It’s better to be an overachiever.
