Inside Kirk Cousins’ Recent Home Sale: Off-Market Deal Revealed
DID KIRK COUSINS SELL HIS MINNESOTA HOME?
Indeed he did! If you were waiting to see when Kirk's house would appear for sale online, I don't believe you would have ever found it. I noticed today that a picture of the beautiful house was on Zillow.com, and had been listed as "CLOSED." The property was sold on May 14th, 2024, and apparently, it was sold off the market, and yes! I believe Kirk made a profit.
THE VALUE OF A HOME
The last time the house was sold was in 2018 on June 1st. Now, we can make the assumption that Kirk was the purchaser at that time. If that's the case, he paid $738,500 for the 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom house that sits on 2.62 acres.
He sold the home for $1,250,000. That's quite the sale, considering the home sold in 2003 for $163,500! Wow!
WHY KIRK COUSINS LEFT MINNESOTA
The reason Kirk Cousins sold his house is that he signed a deal with the Atlanta Falcons. I honestly thought that Kirk considered Minnesota his forever home, but I read an article that explains the reason for his final decision:
"As we talked with Atlanta, it felt like this was a place where, if I play at the level I expect to play, that I can retire a Falcon. That was something that really excited me and that's certainly the goal. You've got to earn the right to do that, but that was exciting to feel like I could get that opportunity here." You can't blame him for making a decision like that.
