ST. CLOUD -- As many of you know I have a lot of friends in the fitness industry who like to eat healthy and give me a lot of creative alternatives to some of my favorite foods.

Well to my surprise I found a healthy option to one of my favorite foods -- ICE CREAM!!

Now I love ice cream as much as the next person (probably more) and find myself eating a carton at a time, but if you want a healthier option for your sweet tooth check this out.

Here is what you need to get started :

- I scoop of your favorite protein mix (Chocolate, Cookies n Cream, etc)
- 6oz of water
- 7 ice cubes
- Blend for 3 minutes
- Put in a bowl in the freezer for 8 hours

IT'S THAT SIMPLE!

I made it the other night and thought it was a great replacement for my ice cream fix - but don't get me wrong it's not Dairy Queen!
