FOLEY -- A big road construction project in Benton County will force drivers to detour up to 10 miles from their normal route.

The Highway 25 resurfacing project is getting underway Monday south of Highway 23 in Foley. The road will be closed between Glen Street and Highway 95. There will be a signed detour via Highway 23 and Highway 95 which will add up to 10 miles to your trip.

A second phase of construction will begin in late June when all lanes of Highway 25 south of Highway 23 reopen. That project will resurface all lanes of Highway 25 north of Highway 23 up to Genola. More details will be released at a later time.
