This makes my six year old self just crazy with anticipation. The recently reunited (surviving) members of The Monkees will be playing the State Theater in Minneapolis next week (11/15). Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork, and the reclusive Michael Nesmith (Papa Nez) are planning a multimedia show that spans their entire career with special attention to the groups critically acclaimed album "Headquarters." The Monkees will also pay tribute to Davy Jones who passed away of a heart attack earlier this year with a video montage and all the hits you would expect to hear.

All the members have been busy since the group disbanded in the early 70's. Peter the first to leave the band making them a trio, continues to tour with his band "Shoe Suede Blues." Micky has been all over the Broadway stage and tours as a solo act.  Papa Nez recently completed some solo gigs overseas and continues to stay busy with his TV / production company.

The Monkees are only doing 12 dates on this tour and with Nesmith's hesitance to tour with the band on past reunions over the years, this may be your last chance.  For complete tour dates and ticket info Click Here
