Alanis Morissette did an amazing job last Friday night at the State Theater in Minneapolis. She performed before a sold out crowd and gave fans exactly what they came for..hits, hits, and more hits. Her husband "Souleye" opened the show to a luke warm response but to be fair, it didn't matter who opened for her, the crowed was all about Alanis Friday night.

I'm shocked at how well her voice has held up over the years and just how tight her touring band is. She delivered a stellar performance and left the crowd wanting more (her set lasted about an hour and a half). All the "radio monsters" were in the set list including "Ironic", "Head Over Feet" and the sassy "You Oughta Know."

Alanis also included songs from her new album "Havoc and Bright Lights" and reminded everyone why she's a Grammy Award winner with well over 30 million albums sold worldwide (and that's just with "Jagged Little Pill").
