I'm a huge fan of Halloween and all thinks creepy and scary. Halloween is by far my favorite holiday! It's finally October, and that means that the haunted attractions are set to open soon if they haven't already! Check out some of my favorite from around our area and the state!

Molitor's Haunted Acres--The haunted hayride in Sauk Rapids opens for the season on Friday, Oct. 6. Festivities begin with the Wagon of Doom Haunted Hayride, followed by a tour of; The Haunted House, The Cellar, The Storm Sewer, The Toxic Mine Shaft and the Prison. The last attraction of the night is an interactive zombie shoot. Molitor's Haunted Acres is open weekends through October starting at 7 p.m.

Harvest of Horror--This Halloween attraction is located in St. Augusta. It opens for the season on Friday, Oct. 6. You'll be taken on a hayride, then you'll be sent on a walk through the corn field before ending your spooky journey touring a haunted house. They're open weekends from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

ValleySCARE--The Halloween Haunt in Shakopee is open from 7 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday nights through Oct. 28. There's more than 75 rides, haunted mazes, scare zones and monsters roaming around the park.

Haunted Basement, Soap Factory--The Minneapolis building is allegedly haunted in real life. The attraction plays into the legend, creating a supernatural experience for guests. It's open at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights through the end of October. There's a special opening for Halloween on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
