Gov. Mark Dayton Declared a New ‘Day’ for Minnesota to Celebrate
Sunday July 22nd, 2018 was the day the last Vans Warped Tour took place in Minnesota. The 24-year-old tour is on it's last run this summer, and made it's final stop at Canterbury Park in Shakopee on Sunday. The tour has long been associated with helping up and coming acts get out on the road and expose their music to new fans, some big Mix artists that have gone on it include Katy Perry, Echosmith, Bebe Rexha, We The Kings, 3Oh!3, and many others.
Governor Mark Dayton realized the impact that Warped Tour left on the state of Minnesota, and officially declared July 22nd, 2018 Warped Tour Day in Minnesota. The mobile festival has entertained over 350,000 music fans over its 22 years in the Twin Cities area ,and gave a unique and memorable experience for concert goers. It's been great having you every year Warped Tour! Looking forward to a potential reunion run in the future!
