Chipotle announced that they will give away 250,000 burritos to healthcare workers on Thursday! What an awesome way to honor the heroes on the front line of the pandemic!

Healthcare heroes can get their burrito by signing up on the Chipotle website beginning at noon on Thursday, April 29th. Healthcare workers will be asked to show their employee I.D. or other information from ID.me to verify their employment and eligibility.

After signing up for the free treat be sure to keep an eye on your email to see if you were among the 250,000 selected to achieve sweet, sweet burrito bliss. You will then be sent a code that can be used on the Chipotle app for a free entree.

Healthcare workers have been on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic and, let's give credit where credit is due, they were heroes long before COVID as well. From helping the sick to delivering babies, nurses play a critical role in our everyday lives.

So, whether you are going for a chicken burrito with fresh tomato salsa (my favorite), or a more adventurous barbacoa with roasted chili-corn salsa (you rebel, you), it's on the house for health care workers Thursday!

There are two Chipotle locations in St. Cloud, one by the campus of St. Cloud State University on Fifth Avenue South,  and the other next door to Party City and Old Navy in St. Cloud near Highway 15.
