First Ever ‘Salsa Fest’ Coming to Long Prairie on Saturday
LONG PRAIRIE - If you love a good salsa, Long Prairie is the place to be on Saturday. The first ever Salsa Fest is being held at the Todd County Fairgrounds.
Theresa Keaveny is the Executive Director of the Sustainable Farming Association. She says the highlights include a salsa contest.
There's still an opportunity for great salsa makers to enter the event.
Keaveny says they'll also have live music, food vendors, salsa ice cream sampling, and local artisan shopping. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The cost is $5 a person, with kids 12 and under getting in free.
