Nothing "ruff" about this situation!

Minnesota's first ever indoor/outdoor dog park, taproom and eatery combination is set to open this winter!

Unleashed: Hounds and Hops is the brainchild of Dawn Uremovich, Kevin Knutson and Sam Carter. Their mission is simple: enjoy cold beer and great food with your best friend!

"We are committed to bringing responsible dog owners together in a safe and friendly environment," reads Unleashed: Hounds and Hops' missions statement. "We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel a sense of community; where our most important clients, and their owners, can socialize and make new friends.  We live by the motto 'Nothing brings people together better than good food, cold beer and your best friend.'"

According to City Pages, the tap selection will feature local brews, while the menu (for humans) will focus on sausages and dogs...hot dogs. A menu for the dogs is purportedly also in the works which could even include a "beer" for pups!

Unleashed: Hounds and Hops is set for a tentative open date at the new year and will be located at 200 E. Lyndale Ave., Minneapolis.
