MIX 94.9 will once again be celebrating an eco-friendly planetary vision with the Earth Day Run at St. Cloud State. This year the celebration starts on Friday, April 15 and continues with various run events Saturday morning April 16th, concluding with The Mississippi Music Fest that afternoon.

Over the last ten years, the Earth Day Run has grown from an idea to a first class running event that attracts over 5,000 runners.

The festivities start at noon on Friday in the Halenbeck Fieldhouse with the Health And Fitness Expo.  This is your chance to check out the latest running and fitness products, as local and national vendors will be selling and sampling.

Plus, the Ty James Traffic Jam will be "live", from the Expo, from 3-6pm - getting you ready for the pasta feed (4pm), the 1K Youth Run (6pm), and the 5K Run/Walk (6:30pm).

Saturday morning, the Half  Marathon starts at 8:30am - and there are other run events during that time as well. For the complete list of the Earth Day Run events, click here. If you'd like to register for any of the runs click here. Online registration will be open through April 11th.
