Eagle Bend Woman Killed in Two Vehicle Crash

BROWERVILLE - A woman was killed in a two vehicle crash in Todd County over the weekend. The Sheriff's Office says it happened just after 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of County Road 11 and County Road 14 in Iona Township, just west of Browerville.

A car driven by Robert Carpentier of Wyoming, Minnesota was going north. As he went through the intersection he was struck by a car driven by Dorothy Holder of rural Eagle Bend.

Both vehicles went into the ditch. Holder was trapped in her vehicle and had to be extricated.

Both were taken to the CentraCare Hospital in Long Prairie. Holder was pronounced dead at the hospital.
