Another day, another victim of the internet.

Women's retailer Dressbarn has announced it will be closing all of its 650 stores nationwide including 13 locations in Minnesota.

Ascena Retail Group -- who owns Dressbarn as well as apparel chains Ann Taylor and Loft -- said in a press release that Dressbarn "has not been operating at an acceptable level of profitability in today’s retail environment." (CNBC)

No timeline has been announced for the store closings yet, and customers will be able to continue shopping in stores and online until further notice.

According to CNBC, over 6,000 closures have been announced in 2019 ranging in companies from Payless ShoeSource to Gymboree, Charlotte Russe to Gap. In just five months, that's already more than 2018's 5,854 closures.

  • Coon Rapids Riverdale Village
  • Duluth Miller Hall Mall
  • Twin Cities Premium Outlets in Eagan
  • Mankato Heights Plaza
  • Maple Grove Crossing
  • Medford Outlet Center
  • North Branch Outlets
  • Rochester Broadway Commons
  • Crossroads Center, St. Cloud
  • Woodbury Village Shopping Center
