Right now it is Dream Getaway season!  You could win a dream trip of a lifetime by listening and entering the dream getaway code words that we give out on the air.  It's a lot of fun to find out who wins the trip each time, and then finding out where they plan on going and using their trip that they just won.

WIN DREAM GETAWAY

We have given out 87 Dream Getaways.  You COULD be number 88!  But then comes the question of "where will you go?"  Many times when we ask that question to whomever wins they will respond with "I have no idea".  Well, that's no fun.  So, I found out that National Geographic puts out a list of "must-see" destinations from all over the world. Maybe these places will give you some inspiration.

MUST-SEE DESTINATIONS FOR 2026

Some of these sound amazing, and others might be more of a head scratcher, but here is some of the list. At least here are some ideas that might help you out.

AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK - RWANDA, EAST AFRICA

What's great about this is the safari opportunities.  Definitely a "thinking out of the box" destination

MAUI, HAWAII

Two years after the wildfires, Hawaii is ready to welcome tourists again to help the economy in that area.

BEIJING, CHINA

The Oympics were held there a few years ago - could be some fun culture things to check out.

ROUTE 66 IN OKLAHOMA

Route 66 is about 2500 miles long, and is turning 100 in 2026.  The area of the road in Oklahoma has some fun and interesting things to see.

BLACK SEA COAST, TURKEY

Why not?

COASTAL OAXACA, MEXICO

Great surfing and snorkling in this area.  Not very populated which adds to the mystery

DOMINICA

Scuba diving central.  This might also become the sperm whale santuary soon.

PITTSBURGH, PA

What???  Yes, apparently there is a ton of history and culture in the town of Pittsburgh.  I guess for that type of thing I would have always though of Philadelphia first.

YAMAGATA PERFECTURE, JAPAN

Going to the far East  - that is somewhere that would be awesome with a Dream Getaway trip win.  Probably wouldn't go there on your own???? Maybe...

ULURU-KATA TJUTA NATIONAL PARK, AUSTRALIA

Going to the land down under - that always sounds like a great adventure.

You can see the full list in National Geographic - maybe there's somewhere else you'd like to go.
