Don’t Forget These Items When You Camp at Festivals!

This past weekend I went to Moondance Jammin' Country Fest in Walker. It was a great two days of camping, music and good company and it has me super excited to be out at Halfway Jam in July!

I have a tenancy to over pack when I go to things like that. I am there for two days but pack like I am staying for a week. And even with that bad habit I still have stuff that I seem to forget.

Here is a list of some music festival camping essentials that I wish I would've remembered to bring:

- Cordless External Phone Charger - It would have been a lifesaver down at the concert when my phone died and I wanted more pictures.

- Fanny Pack - They are extremely dorky, but girls shorts have small pockets! It would've been great to have my money, phone and ticket all in a safe secure place.

-Bug Spray - My roommate and I totally forgot it.

-Insulated Drink Cup - Summer heat and thin walled cups do not mix. Spend a couple extra dollars on a mug that will keep the drink cold!

-Flashlight or Headlamp - It would make the late night porta-potty run a lot easier.
