Save Big On Gas This Thursday At Circle K Fuel Day

Central Minnesota drivers can save big on gas this Thursday, August 28th with Circle K's "Fuel Day." The convenience store chain, which is still branded as Holiday in most cases locally, will offer a 40 cent per gallon discount on gas from 4-7 p.m. at participating locations.

I stumbled upon this sale completely by accident this past winter and ended up saving almost ten bucks when it was all said and done. Not only that, I saw a local internet celebrity at the pump next to me, which was memorable and cool!

HOW TO SAVE

The fine print, per CircleK.com:

Up to 40 cents per gallon in certain states in accordance with applicable laws. Fuel discount per gallon starts on August 28th at 4 p.m. (local time) and ends at 7 p.m. (local time). Price on pump reflects discounted price during that time. Only at participating Circle K Fuel locations

LABOR DAY COMING UP 

Website Gas Buddy recently released its Labor Day gas price forecast, which predicts an average price of $3.15 per gallon this upcoming weekend. That price would be 14 cents lower than last year and the lowest overall since 2020.

After Labor Day the price is expected to drop even further, as refineries switch to the 'winter blend' gasoline and demand falls with summer ending.
