Crossroads Center Open for Business on Thanksgiving

ST. CLOUD -- While the Mall of America won't be open on Thanksgiving, here in St. Cloud, Crossroads Center, has announced they will be open for Turkey Day.

General Manager Darcy Eigen says the mall will be open Thanksgiving Day from 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. and will reopen at 6:00 a.m. on Black Friday. Although Crossroads Center will be open on Thanksgiving, Eigen says retailers do have the choice if they want to be open or be closed.

"Based on history last year, and several years actually, we've seen about 85-90 percent of our retailers will open up for Thanksgiving."

Eigen says some of the major retailers in Crossroads Center have already announced they will be open for Thanksgiving shopping.

"JCPenney, Target and Macy's have all told us they will be open for Thanksgiving. Sears is still pending yet on whether they will be open and Scheels is designated as being closed on Thanksgiving."

Opening times have yet to be announced by many retailers.
