Crisp Leaves & Cider! Start Planning Your Fall MN Adventures Now!
I know we are still in the early stages of August, but admit it, you've started to notice it's getting darker earlier, and lately, the morning air has been 'crisper'. If you love the season of fall, you'll want to start planning your weekend adventures now, as one Twin Cities popular pumpkin patch and corn maze has announced its opening weekend plans.
Waldoch Farms in Lino Lakes has been around now for 4 generations and it's a great place to kick off your fall. Bring the kids, grandma, grandpa, cousins, aunts and uncles!
On Saturday, September 21st the farm will open up to the public for its annual fall weekend activities. From 10am to 6pm, the farm will be offering up:
The farm also opens up their corn maze this weekend, they call it the labyrinth, which if you take your time walking through it, it will take you about an hour to complete it! If you aren't willing to wander that long, you can escape in about 15 minutes according to the farms website.
The corn maze Labyrinth has 2 phases:
Phase 1: takes about 10-15 minutes, which makes our maze great for little family members.
When you are done with phase 1 you can exit and be done and play in the rest of Joyer Adventure Farm
OR, you can continue to phase 2 at any time during your visit.
Phase 2: a bit longer and can take around 45 minutes. All this depends on how many times you get lost.
If you finish phase 2, you will have a chance to find all the letters in the hidden phrase within!
Finally, it wouldn't be autumn without pumpkins, and the patch on the farm offers up the chance to "Pick your own Pumpkin."
Get more details on the farm, and its fall opening festival through the farm's website, and social media event.
